Security advisors provide professional security risk management advice to the management of an operation. They support and guide staff on security related matters concerning all personnel and assets of the operation, undertake security assessments and identify functional and practical risk prevention and mitigation measures.
In partnership with relevant stakeholders, they furthermore ensure that the operation develops and approves contingency and critical incident management plans and make them known to all staff by conducting security briefings for all incoming personnel. Access the full generic job profile here.
Does the following profile sound like you? If yes, we encourage you to apply and look forward to guiding you through the admission process.
Prior work experience in the military or police force is not required. We strongly encourage women to apply for the Security Advisor Pool. Applications from German Red Cross volunteers and staff members who meet the criteria are welcome.
Please note that this is an application process to join our humanitarian surge roster, not for a specific security advisor position.
